Cookie policy
Only the French version is legally binding.
1. Necessary cookies
They are always active: without them, the website does not work. They are not used for audience measurement or advertising.
- SHBYJM_CONSENT: remembers your cookie choices, for 396 days.
- Session cookie: makes the website and the booking process work during your visit.
- Form security cookie: set when you submit a form, to protect it against fraudulent submissions. It disappears when you close the browser.
- __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid: set by Stripe, our payment provider, on the payment page of a booking, to secure the payment and prevent fraud. The first lasts one year, the second 30 minutes.
2. Audience measurement
Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to find out which pages are viewed and to improve the website. Nothing is loaded before you consent.
Cookies set: _ga and _ga_ followed by our identifier. Their duration is set by Google.
3. Advertising
Only with your consent, we use Meta Pixel to measure the effect of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Nothing is loaded before you consent.
Cookies set: _fbp and, if you arrive through a Meta advert, _fbc. Their duration is set by Meta.
With this same consent, when you request an estimate or contact us as an owner, we also report this request to Meta from our server (see our privacy policy).
4. “My stay” area
The “My stay” area (checkin.escappart.com) does not set any audience measurement or advertising cookies. It uses:
- a session cookie, needed for logging in and for form security;
- gs_lang, which remembers the language you choose, for one year.
5. Changing your choices
On your first visit, the banner lets you accept everything, refuse everything or choose category by category. Refusing does not prevent you from using the website.
You can change your mind at any time: the “Cookies” link at the bottom of each page reopens your preferences.
